    Hu Aizhen
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 1999, 23 (3): 170-174.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (676KB) ( 636 )

RADON ANOMALY ALONG MOXI-TIANWAN SHEAR ZONE AND ITS INDICATING SIGNIFICANCE FOR GOLD MINERALIZATION
Zhao Lianfeng, Teng Yanguo, Tuo Xianguo, Ni Shijun, Zhang Chengjiang, Tang Jianwu
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 1999, 23 (3): 175-178184.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (1039KB) ( 546 )

Radon measurement technique is a radiometric geophysical method in search for deep concealed deposits. In the Dafagou deposit of Tianwan, western Sichuan, gold mineralization is strictly controlled by shear zones and diabase dikes, and shear zones are closely associated with diabase dikes.Hence the application of radon measurement method to the search for shear zones and diabase dikes can achieve the aim of indirect prospecting for gold deposits.

THREE-DIMENSIONAL DENSITY DISTRIBUTION OF LITHOSPHERE IN NORTH CHINA
    Fang Jian
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 1999, 23 (3): 179-184.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (1675KB) ( 700 )

Using three-dimensional tomographic imaging results of 2°×2°grid S wave velocity and 15′×15′ grid average gravity anomaly in North China, this paper adopted inversion with constrained least squares method and,as a result, obtained density distribution results of six bedding surfaces in lithosphere of North China. The inversion results indicate the following phenomena: the lithosphere density beneath North China area is extremely inhomogeneous, which is the reflection of the feature of violent tectonic movement;the density distribution is coherent with tectonic;the density is different in different tectonic units;there are low density regions in the crust;the strong earthquakes in North China region mainly occur at this depth.

GRAVITY ISOSTATIC ANOMALIES AND PRIMARY DIAMOND DEPOSITS
    Long Zhaoling
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 1999, 23 (3): 185-190194.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (916KB) ( 676 )

The mantle-derivation theorists of diamonds hold that diamonds are formed at the bottom of the lithosphere and the top of the rheosphere, and the kimberlites or lamproites only serve as carriers for bringing diamonds out to form deposits. The gravity isostatic anomalies reflect not oly the tectonic activities at the depth of the earth crust but also the short term character of these activities.Hence special importance should be attached to the prospecting for young diamond-bearing rock bodies in Yuanjiang river area.

THE WAVEFIELD TRANSFORMATION STUDY OF TRANSIENT ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD
Chen Benchi, Zhou Fengtong, Li Jinming
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 1999, 23 (3): 195-201.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (455KB) ( 995 )

Through wavefield transformation and transient electromagnetic field data of stratiform medium model under different conditions, the authors have raised the understanding of the physical significance of wavefield transformation of transient electromagnetic field and summed up some valuable regularities. It is pointed out that the wave field obtained from the mathematic trasformation not only satisfies wave equation in form but also exhibits “propagation” phenomenon in conductive media. In the process of “propagation”,the “reflection” and “transmission”phenomena also exist at the electric interface. These conclusions provide important theoretical grounds for reasonable utilization of the seismic processing and interpretation method.

THE NUMERICAL MODERLING STUDY OF THE INFLUENCE REGULARITY OF ROLLING TOPOGRAPHY UPON NEARPRE WALLROCK “MISEALAMASSE” METHOD
    Yang Hua, Li Jinming
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 1999, 23 (3): 202-210215.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (1006KB) ( 638 )

Exemplified by ridge and valley topography and based on two dimensional finite element numerical simulation, this paper has given profile curves of primary electric field of near ore wallrock “mise a la masse” method and IP secondary electric field under the condition of rolling topography, studied the influence of topography upon the electric field, summarized distribution regularity of anomalies under the condition of rolling topography and, using radio method, made topographic correction. The results of the correction show that the effect is fairly satisfactory.

A REVIEW ON THE APPLICATION OF THE DATA BANK TECHNIQUE TO THE MANAGEMENT OF GEOPHYSICAL DATA
Zhang Shaohong, Wang Yongjiang, Liu Sihong
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 1999, 23 (3): 221-226.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (775KB) ( 768 )

With the development of petroleum exploration and exploitation, people are asked to obtain useful information from large quantities of new and old data as quickly as possible. The data bank technique provides the users with a high-performance storage and management system and safer rapid on-line visit so as to reduce the cost of storage and preservation of data, save the time of searching for data and help geologists to make decision in a better way.It supplies an economical and competitive service. This paper makes a comprehensive review on problems related to data bank technique.

PRIMARY GEOCHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE ASHELE COPPER POLYMETALLIC DEPOSIT,XINJIANG
Zou Changyi, Li Yinggui, Yang Shaoping, Zhao Chuandong
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 1999, 23 (3): 227-232.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (788KB) ( 657 )

Based on surface and borehole rock survey data, this paper has studied primary geochemical characteristics of the Ashele copper-polymetallic deposit, found out main indicator elements and their three-dimensional spatial distribution regularity, and established effective geochemical prospecting evaluation indices.Studies show that trace element contents of strata and rocks in the Ashele ore district are obviously higher than their contents in the metallogenic belt and their regional background, with their contents tending to increase from regional background through the metallogenic belt to the ore district. The surface primary anomalies of this ore deposit are in "planar"distribution along the mineralized zone, and the primary zoning of indicator elements exhibits the two layer structural model of volcanogene massive sulfide deposits characterized by Zn in the upper part and Cu in the lower part.
