Abstract Exemplified by ridge and valley topography and based on two dimensional finite element numerical simulation,this paper has given profile curves of primary electric field of near ore wallrock “mise a la masse” method and IP secondary electric field under the condition of rolling topography,studied the influence of topography upon the electric field,summarized distribution regularity of anomalies under the condition of rolling topography and,using radio method,made topographic correction.The results of the correction show that the effect is fairly satisfactory.
