Abstract Based on aeromagnetic data,this paper has analysed and studied regional tectonic characteristics and evolution of Yingen Ejin Banner basin,affirmed the existence of NE-trending fault in this area,and probed into the role of the formation and development of this set of faults in regional tectonics.
