Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration is a well-known academic journal devoted to geophysical and geochemistry exploration with the mission of serving exploration geophysicists and geochemical researchers in various aspects.

 

Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration formally started publication in 1979, hence with a history of nearly 30 years. Mr. Daguang Sun, former Minister of Geology and Mineral Resources, inscribes the journal name Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration on the cover.

 

Dr. Gongxu Gu, the founder and exploiter of contemporary geophysical business in China and Editor in Chief of Geophysical Exploration,which stopped publication in 1966 , formulated the guide line for running this journal: meet the needs of national economic construction; promote the progress, academic exchange and popularization of geophysical and geochemical exploration technologies; place particular emphasis on the application and serve grass roots units; combine academic study with techniques and give consideration to production, research and teaching .
