Abstract This paper presents a method that combines isostatic correction and residual negative correlation correction to remove the artificial anomaly of Tibetan Plateau caused by negative correlation between gravity anomaly and topography. With this method, the authors processed the gravity anomaly of the Hoh Xil area in Tibetan Plateau, and the result shows that this method is effective.
