Abstract 2 abstract :Regional geochemical anomalies are possessed not only of certainty but also of randomness. Fractal technology as a non-linearity science could solve the related problems. In this paper, the authors used concentration-area fractal and perimeter-area fractal models to delineate geochemical anomalies. Based on a comparison between the two mathematical methods, the authors hold that the fractal method can yield better result than the traditional method.
