    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 1995, 19 (2): 81-87.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (517KB) ( 475 )

The DST-3 type inter-bor6hole acoustic sounding and borebole acoustic oil-mining system is characterized by hihg resolution ratio and high detedboility whert used in itherborehole tomographic imagery and is noted for high power and Wide action range when used in borebole shaking oil mining of the oil reservoir. When this system was tested in Gao 104-5 well aam Gao 105-5 well of ths Jidong oil field, telatively high-quality inter-borehole data of the deep oil reservoir were obtained with borehole distance of 210 m and at the depth of 1854. 1 m-1890 m. Aftor CT processing, the profile of inter-borehole acoustic tomographic imagery was consttucted. The elimination of plugging by downhole acoustic source shaking was successfully Carried out in 1867.6m-1884.8m oil-bearing formation of Gao 104-well.The results of the tests have proved the reliability and practicality of this system and shown that the system will play a special role in the development and exploitation of oil and gas fields.

THE REPRESENTATIVENESS OF WIDE-SPACED OVERBANK SEDIMENT GEOCHEMICAL SAMPLING
Shen Xiachu, Xie Xuejing, Yan Mingcai, Gu Tiexin, Chi Qinhua
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 1995, 19 (2): 88-95.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (527KB) ( 663 )

In response to the performance of the Global Goochomical Sampling (a subproject of the IGCP Project 259, International Geochemical Mapping), an orientation study was conducted in 1989-1990 to develop an optimum wide-spaced geoehemical sampling approach in Jiangxi Province, Southsart China. 121 overbank sediment samples were collected in an area of about 157,000 km2, with the average sampling density being 1 sample/1,300 km2, and the sampling coverage being 24%. Most of the samples were collected at outflow sites of the drainage basins with an area of 100-500 km2, including 33 samples that control basins of 400-2,000 km2.Overbank sediment samples were taken at a dspth of 50-120 cm, and the samples were analyzed quantitatively for 38 elements. The representativeness of wide-spaced overbot sediment sampling is discussed from vinous angles in the paper, with tho following conclusions reached:-Sampling at the outflow areas of 400-2,000 km2 drainage basins can reveal the major minoralizations in the basins;-W, Sn, Cu. Pb and Zn in both wide-spaced samples and drainage sediment samples collected at a density of a samples/km2 manifest similar regional geochemical trends;-Distribution of W, Pb, Be and Rb coincides with the Yanshanian graftes closely related to the major ore-forming plocesses in Jiangxi;-Distribution of "3Ni +Cr + V" in wide-spaced samples can distinctly reveal the boundary between the Yangtze paraplatform and the Caledonian fold symbol in Jiangxi.

REVIEW AND PROSPECTS OF GEOLOGICAL STANDARD MATERIALS
    Yan Mingcai, Wang Chunshu
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 1995, 19 (2): 96-103.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (572KB) ( 690 )

The study of standed materials for chemical composition of geological substancesbegan in bate 1970' s. Geologists of the Northwest institute of Geology of MGMR first developed the standard materials for ultrabasic rocks aam cbromitej subsequently, Sponsored bydestitUte of Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration and institUte of Rock and Mi-alAaalysis aam encouraged by the natiouwido regional geochendcal scabing, geologists developedin succession standard mtenals of three series (steam sediments, soils and rocks). Later, experts from Miaistry of Nuclear industry, Miaistry of Cbemical industry also developed corresponding geological standed matexisls. 1980's was a period of full bloom in the development of geological standed materials, and at the ear of this period, a comparatively completesystem of geological standaed materials was formed. According to the catalogue of the StateGrade--A standals Materials Promulgated by the Stats Bureau of Technological Supervision in 1992, metallurgical ho6 standed znaterisls occupy first place in quantity, followed by thegeological ac shadard materials which make up one fourth j according to the project number of Stended value3 promulgated, however, the geological type standard materials rank first, making up over 50%. The geological standaxd materials are in the led in tha worldla such asests as quantity, sorts and acs and seriality, aam hays also reached the international advanced level in value--determined elements and value--determination precigion.

THE REGIONAL SECONDARY GEOCHEMICAL NEGATIVE ANOMALEY MODEL AND ITS SIGNIFICANCE
    Shi Changyi, Wang Caifang
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 1995, 19 (2): 104-113.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (604KB) ( 953 )

Importance has been attached to the study of primary geochemical negative anomalies.Especially in the former U. S. S. R., some geochemists summed up tab criteria for the application of geochemical primary negative anomalies to the exploration and evaluation of bydrothermal deposits. Nevertheless, due to the lack of a comparable method for classification negative anomalies, the study of negative anomalies oannct be spstematically carried out and the results are incomparable to each other. Sedies on the negative anomalies discovered in regional stream sediment survey, in particular, have been very insufficient. Based on the analysis of contrast value negative anomalies in several areas, this paper has dealt tentatively with the distribution of regional negative anomalies, the relationship between tha negative anomaly and the positive anomaly, and the geological sigaificance and prospecting information of negstive anomalies, summarized models for distribution of regional negative anomalies of single element and multiple elements, and established the ragional positive and negative anomaly models for gold ac copper deposits. It is pointed out that geochemical anomalies consist of positive anomalies and negative anomalies.

    HIGH RESOLUTION EXPLORATION AND SEISMOGRAPHS
    Qian Shaohu
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 1995, 19 (2): 114-121.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (541KB) ( 623 )

This paper deals systematically with the basic concepts of amplitude dynamic range and instrument dynamic in seismic exoloration, and points out that the instrument dynamic range is an extremely importaant basic prerequisite in high resolution exploration, which must be designed on the basis of amplitude dynamic ranges of shallow strong signal and deep high-frequency weak signal. If the instrument dynamic range is small, highfrequoncy signal cannot be recorded, inevitably resulting in the decrease in resolution ratio. The paper also dsscribes briefly some means for selecting optimum instrument factors in high resolution seismic exploration.

THE EFFECTIVENESS OF APPLYING HIGH-PRECISION AEROMAGNETIC DATA IN GOLD RECONNAISSANCE OF GUANGXIYUNNAN-GUIZHOU REGION
Liana Dechao, Zheng Guangru, Hou Liangdi
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 1995, 19 (2): 128-134.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (470KB) ( 788 )

Based on an investigation of high-precision aeromagnatic data of Guangxi-YunnanGuizhou region and, especially, an analysis of magnetic field characteristics of micro-grained gold districts, the anchors have found that there exist aeromagnetic anomalies in or near most gold districts. Such a phenomenon combined with phwical property data has led to the understanding that magnetic anomalies are mainly reflections of basic rocks, ac hence gold deposits are closely related to basic rocks. Using aeromagotic data together with some other data, one may indirectly delineate target areas for gold deposits.

    Zhang Huimin
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 1995, 19 (2): 135-141.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (739KB) ( 897 )

A thermal demagnetization restudy of 37 samples from five points of Chuanlinggou Formation along the Jixian section in North China shows that the pole position is 239. 1°Eand 22. 2°N, K = 82, A95= 8. 5°, which falls near ths connection line between the pole of Changzhougou Formation and that of Tuanshanzi Formation alone the established apparent polar wandering path of Jixian Proterozoic. The result is reasonable and believabls. It is also shown that the tested (sub)volcanic rock and sodimeotary rock are penecontemporaneous products, which might be used to make zircon U-Ph dating.
