Abstract Through a comprehensive study of the results of dynamic monitoring exploration for seawater in Laizhou Bay by AMT method and other original data, the authors acquired further understanding of the present situation of seawater invasion inside the study-area. Moreover, the authors divided the interface zones between the salt and the fresh water, which resulted in favorable effects of environmental geology. The results indicate that the AMT(EH-4) method is effective in determining the interfaces between the salt and the fresh water, delineating the infection tunnel of seawater and observing the regularity of interface migration.
