Abstract This paper deals with the theory and measuring technique of 3-D direct current survey used in environmental and engineering survey. With the prospecting of obsolete air-raid shelters in Xuzhou Xinhua Book Store as an example, the paper points out that 3-D direct current survey is an effective method in engineering survey.
