Abstract Located at the compounding position between SidaoqiaoZhujiding fracture anticline and
SandaoqiaoQingda fracture anticline on the hanging wall of Chengxiang large fault, the Zhujiding
copper deposit is recently discovered in the central segment of Yidun island arc belt. Based on a study
of geochemical characteristics of ore bodies, ores, oreforming age and parent rocks, the authors hold
that the Zhujiding copper deposit is a magmatichydrothermalporphyry type ore deposit formed by
the extensional action of Yidun island arc belt after the collisionorogenic movement in late
Yanshanian period. An oreprospecting model for the Zhujiding copper deposit has been established
on the basis of integrated research.
