Abstract Located in the central part of the Qianhe-Miaoling-Manyu metallogenic belt, the Xiaonangou deposit in Songxian County is a typical tectonic altered rock type gold deposit. Based on such characteristics of the Xiaonangou gold deposit as trace element associations, horizontal zoning, vertical zoning, element contrast values, orebody lateral plunging, and attitudes and sizes of orebodies, this paper deals tentatively with the geochemical anomaly pattern of tectonic altered rock type gold deposits, with the purpose of establishing ore-prospecting criteria for ore exploration work of this area.
