Abstract Ore-bearing and barren rocks and soils were sampled in granite type uranium deposits, and their glowing curves and intensities were measured. A comparative analysis of the data indicates that the differences of glowing characteristics between ore-bearing rocks and soils and barren ones are obvious, and the soil TL survey can be used to find granite type uranium deposits.
