Abstract Based on a study of mineral association of sphalerite as well as typomorphic characteristics and physical typomorphic characteristics of elements, the authors have tentatively discussed sources of ore-forming materials, ore-forming temperature and genesis of Houyaoyu, Luotuoshan and Xizaogou Pb-Zn deposits in western Henan.
