Abstract This paper deals with characteristics of the Ag, W, As, Sn, Au, Pb, F, Cu and Zn composite anomalies in the Yaogangxian orefield centered on the Wore district and, on the basis of an analysis of the geological setting of the orefield, points out the favorable silver-search prospects in the orefield.
