Abstract This paper describes the characteristics of soil thermoluminescence curves and anomalies of leachable sandstone uranium deposits in different landscapes. The application of soil thermoluminescence survey to the sandstone uranium deposit indicates that there exist obvious anomalies at both ends of the orebody and a weak anomaly over the orebody.
