Abstract According to the characteristics of double-sensor data, the authors obtained the sea bottom reflection coefficient and calibration operator through hydrophone and geophone seized near offset common geophone stack profiles, and merged the hydrophone and geophone data, thus effectively suppressing the reverberation and at the same time compensated the lost frequency in hydrophone data. The real data of a shallow sea area was processed using this method, with good application effect achieved.
