Abstract In order to find out whether there exists the magnetic interference source affecting the photographic quality of the Xsens system for capture of inertial motion or not in the new planning area of a digital company in Suzhou, the authors accurately judged that the No. 2 studio had a magnetic interference source by using the measurement result of magnetic field with different probe-heights flexibly applied in the existing studio. With this method, the authors measured the magnetic field of the new planning area and inferred that the intensity of the magnetic field of the new planning area is not enough to cause interference to the Xsens system, which was confirmed by the test.
