Abstract In geological field, the NMR method is the unique method for direct detection of groundwater. Using NMR method,we can calculate such hydrogeological parameters of landslides as the water content, the porosity and the permeability coefficient. In this paper, a typical landslide is selected for investigation and drilling verification so as to study the effectiveness, superiority and practicability of the method in landslide application.
