Image processing techniques such as shadow and lamination analysis were developed for the newest compiled regional gravity,aeromagnetic and geochemical data of Tongbaishan Dabieshan area.As a result,plenty of information has been obtained.The information contributes greatly to the division of tectonics,the determination of faulted belts and concealed geological bodies,the ore prospecting prognosis and,especially,the suggested Mulanshan block related to the expansion of northern and southern Dabieshan blocks along the suture zone caused by Indosinian Yanshanian continent continent collision.The achievements are satisfactory.
