    ZHOU Fu-hong, YAO Zheng-xu, XUE Dian-jun, LIU Zheng-jun, ZHANG Yong-jun
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 2001, 25 (2): 81-89.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (975KB) ( 835 )

Based on 1:1,000,000 generalized aeromagnetic survey in central and western Qinghai-Tibet plateau, this paper has made interpretation and investigation on such geological and geophysical problems related to the plateau area as the Yarlung Zangbo River suture zone, the southern boundary of Tarim basin, several large-scale faults within the plateau and regional negative magnetic anomaly zones and, as a result, obtained some new understanding different from previous opinions, which is of great importance in the further deepgoing study of Qinghai-Tibet plateau. It is also demonstrated that the application of the newest aeromagnetic map of central and western Qinghai-Tibet plateau based on generalized aeromagnetic survey to the study of geological problems is very effective.

THE APPLICATION OF NORMALIZED TOTAL GRADS METHOD TO "MISE-A-LA-MASSE" TECHNIQUE
    YANG Hua, LI Jin-ming
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 2001, 25 (2): 95-101.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (1077KB) ( 828 )

In the light of characteristics of analytic continuation and odd points of the potential field function, the authors, using the principle of normalization, deduced the normalized total grads method, and conducted a basic theoretical study on the application of this method to "mise-a-la-masse" technique. In addition, the normalized total grads method was used to interprete the model experimental result of direct charge, the theoretical computational result of indirect charge of near-ore wallrock, and the field observational result. It is proved that the normalized total grads vertical sections and the plans at different depths can be employed to determine central depths of anomalous bodies quite satisfactorily and to define roughly some other geometric parameters. Hence, the fairly good initial profile can be provided for further inversion of electrical parameters.

THE δ MATRIX METHOD FOR THE DISPERSION FUNCTION COMPUTATION OF AXISYMMETRICAL CYLINDRICAL RAYLEIGH WAVE IN MULTILAYERED MEDIA
    FAN You-hua, XIAO Bai-xun, LIU Jia-qi
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 2001, 25 (2): 109-117.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (1942KB) ( 966 )

In this paper, the authors applied the δ matrix method to the computation of dispersion function of axisymmetrical cylindrical Rayleigh wave in multilayered media. Three methods were deduced, namely 6-order δ matrix algorithm, 5-order δ matrix algorithm and fast δ matrix algorithm. The problem of losing numerical precision and that of numerical overflow under high frequency were solved satisfactorily, and the computation speed was enhanced. The numerical computation and the application to engineering have verified the authors' methods and demonstrated that these methods can also be used to solve the dispersion curves of plane Rayleigh wave in multilayered media.

    ZHANG Ji-shen
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 2001, 25 (2): 123-131.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (402KB) ( 679 )

Based on an analysis of the distribution of elements in stream sediments, rocks, near-ore wallrocks and orebodies within the Beichagoumen lead-zinc ore district, this paper has probed into the correlations, compositional zoning and primary zoning of elements as well as their mineralization significance, described geochemical characteristics of the ore district, and established the basic criteria for evaluating the denudation extent. In addition, geochemical ore-prospecting indicators are put forward for future geological reconnaissance in this area.

THE PRELIMINARY TEST AND STUDY OF A NEW MAGNETIC EXPLORATION TECHNIQUE ON THE BASIS OF METALLOGENIC CHRONOLOGY
GUO You-zhao, HAO Guo-jiang, DONG Jie
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 2001, 25 (2): 135-137.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (149KB) ( 752 )

Based on the theory of paleomagnetism and geomagnetochronology that the Earth magnetic field has definite direction in a specific geological period, we can recognize anomalies related to mineralization through a comparision of residual magnetization directions between mineralized rocks and wall rocks. This paper has discussed the metallogenic chronological basis of a new magnetic exploration technique, put forward the parameters for expressing anomalies related to mineralization with "geological time" as the key concept, and with a practical example, briefly illustrated the potentiality of the new technique in ore-prospecting and exploration.

THE LOGGING EVALUATION METHOD FOR COAL QUALITY AND METHANE
DONG Hong, HOU Jun-sheng, LI Neng-gen, WANG Hao
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 2001, 25 (2): 138-143.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (606KB) ( 1115 )

In the light of geological characteristics and statistical as well as logging data of the coalbed in the eastern depression of Liaohe Oilfield, the authors used regression to make industrial analysis of coalbeds and coal ranks. Through the analysis of coalbed gas characteristics and the utilization of Langmuir's equation, sorption isotherm and neutron background value of coalbed gas, the formulae for calculating coalbed methane content were deduced. The techniques were proved to be effective by the practical well log data from the eastern depression in Liaohe Oilfield.

WANG Hua-jun, LUO Yan-zhong, CHEN Yu-kun, CHEN Da
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 2001, 25 (2): 144-147,151.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (253KB) ( 523 )

The newly-developed "routine d.c. 2-dimensional interactive inversion software system" was used to per-form computer interpretation of IP and resistivity data from a certain large-size lead-zinc deposit in Hebei Province. The result of the interpretation demonstrates that the application of this software system to 2-dimensional interactive inversion of IP and resistivity data can quite satisfactorily infer the spatial shapes and occurrence modes of underground ore (mineralized) bodies, and hence provide grounds for rational arrangement of exploration work.

SOFTWARES FOR PROCESSISNG WIDE-ANGLE REFLECTION SEISMIC DATA
    SUN Peng-yuan, ZHAO Wen-jin
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 2001, 25 (2): 156-160.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (1632KB) ( 1677 )

This paper has made a comparison between SEIS88, RAYINVR(92) and ANRAY95 wide-angle softwares which are currently widely-used abroad, and analysed the principle and application range of each method. With the merits and shortcomings of seismic processing softwares used abroad in mind, the authors hold that we should renew current wide-angle reflection processing softwares and develop our own new softwares so as to fit in with the detection of relatively complex geological structures, perform more precise simulation and improve the appliction effects of the techniques.
