Zhang Xian, Liu Min, Zhao Li, Hu Xifeng
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 2000, 24 (2): 81-86.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (553KB) ( 782 )

On the basis of analyzing previous scientists' work, aeromagnetic data from North China were reprocessed with 3-D magnetosphere inversion method and program. Quantitative buried depth of Curie temperature interface was obtained; seismogenesis and its relationship with Curie temperature interface were discussed in the light of results from deep seismic sounding and deep fluid.

    Zhang Derun
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 2000, 24 (2): 87-91,98.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (818KB) ( 679 )

Beishan area lies between Tarim platform and North China platform.Due to the complexity of its geological structure, the properties of its basement and its geotectonic characteristics have long been problems of controversy.Based mainly on features of its gravity and magnetic field, this paper deals mainly with its basement properties, its geological structure and,in combination with surface geological investigation data, probes into geological evo lution process, thus providing basic evidence for the discussion of relationship between Tarim platform and North China platform.

THE APPLICATION OF RADIOACTIVE RADON SURVEY TO THE DYNAMIC MONITORING OF UNDERGROUND GASIFIED BURNED-OUT AREA OF COAL
Liu Jinghua, Wang Xingtai, Tian Gang, Wang Zhuwen
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 2000, 24 (2): 92-98.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (303KB) ( 807 )

Underground gasification of coal means the controlled combustion of underground coal.In order to control the combustion and gasification of coal in an effective way,it is quite important to understand the moving velocity of the burning flame working plane and the limits of burned out area.During the test conducted in the underground gasified area of the Liuzhuang coal mine, the authors analysed the feasibility and effctiveness of the radioactive radon technique in the determination of the moving velocity of the buring flame working plane and the limits of the burned out area in the process of coal underground gasification monitoring. On such a basis, some suggestions are put forward in this paper.

A RAPID 1-D EMPIRICAL INVERSION FORMULA AND ITS APPLICATION RESULTS IN TEM SOUNDING
    Jiang Bangyuan
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 2000, 24 (2): 99-104,127.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (544KB) ( 767 )

D inversion is rather commonly used, because there are no sufficient parameters for 2?D or 2.5?D inversion during the reconnassance survey. The 1?D inversion program based on smoking ring theory is very useful, but it is not suitable for special geoelectrical sections. This paper descirbes an empirical equation, which is quite simple, rapid and flexible in 1?D inversion for TEM sounding. The primary inversion mode can be obtained,or the pseudo?section can be drawn directly with data calculated from the formula.

THE NOISE INTERFERENCE OF MAGNETOTELLURIC SOUNDING DATA
Sun Jie, Jin Guangwen, Bai Denghai, Liang Jinge, Wang Lifeng
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 2000, 24 (2): 119-127.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (852KB) ( 863 )

On the basis of a discussion on the source of magnetotelluric field, this paper points out that the noises affecting magnetotelluric sounding data can be divided into field source noise, geological noise and human noise, which are derived from different sources. The authors studied the influences of various sorts of noises upon the magnetotelluric sounding data and made frequency spectrum analysis for several sorts of common noise interferences. The geological noise commonly affects the whole frequency domain, and the near field interference mainly affects the limited frequency of high frequency.Nevertheless, the nearby thunder and lightning affect relatively wide frequency band of the high frequency, whereas the unstability of the load system mainly affects the low frequency. Finally, some suggestions are made concerning the elimination or reduction of various noise interferences.

THE SIEVING AND INSPECTION OF REGIONAL GEOCHEMICAL ANOMALIES IN PLATEAU-SHALLOW HILL AREA OF NORTHERN SICHUAN
    He Zhenyi
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 2000, 24 (2): 138-145.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (378KB) ( 662 )

In plateau shallow hill area of northern Sichuan, stream sediments are characterized by low geochemical background, weak anomalies with insignificant gradient, and indistinct ore prospecting indicators, and hence it is quite difficult to carry out ore prospecting work in this area.Based on systematic summarization of geochemical characteristics of this area, the author conducted sieving and inspection of anomalies and obtained fairly satisfactory ore prospecting effects and experience.

    Zhao Rongjun
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 2000, 24 (2): 150-153.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (618KB) ( 671 )

Based on the idea of visual programming, this paper used Borland Delphi 4 programming to realize the selection of classification numbers and drawing of the histogram. With the program, one can draw the frequency distribution histogram for original or logarithmic data of each classification in the range of [5,25],thus enabling the users to choose suitable classification numbers of the histogram directly in accordance with the charts. The program is convenient to use and its interface is friendly.
