Abstract Aimed at solving the problem of exploring deep phreatic water, the authors advance a new method and the working principle for flow logging on the basis of a practical example. The technical superiority of this method and the calculation of parts of 下转232页hydrogeological parameters in the rock exploration area are given in this paper. The application of flow logging in two drilling holes played an important role in the evaluation of groundwater resource in these places.
