Abstract Based on 1:200000 regional geochemical exploration data obained from "Sanjiang area", eastern Tibet, in combination with regional geological setting and ore-forming regularity, this paper probes into mineral resources and prospecting potential of this area in the light of geochemical exploration. The geochemical exploration achievements made in "Sanjiang Area" are of great reference and utilization significance to the basic geological researches and mineral resources evaluation of this area.
