Abstract The application of high-strain dynamic tentative piling technique to determining limited bearing capacity of pile endpoint soil is a good method in the field of dynamic depth detection. Using high-strain dynamic tentative piling technique, one can obtain the pile endpoint resistance at each hit in the process of hammering, which is the bearing capacity of the pile endpoint soil against the pile. Dividing the bearing capacity by the cross section area of the pile endpoint, one can figure out the limited bearing capacity of the pile endpoint soil. In combination with the injection depth of pile at each hit, the continuous variation of the bearing capacity of the pile endpoint soil with the depth can also be calculated.
