Abstract Regional geochemical survey for Pt,Pd and Au in the western Bushveld Complex,South Africa,has been under way for a number of years using Pt,Pd and Au analyses of the stream sediment and residual soil samples from Rustenburg area.The exploraion has led to the discovery of many unknown platinum mineralisation horizons in Bushveld Complex.It is worth while to note that at the boundary between the Main and Upper Zone a new Pt,Pd and Au anomalous zone has been discovered.
