Abstract When HACSAMT method is used to survey basic signal without any other equipment, working personnel and working time, the data of harmonic amplitude and phase can be collected,and hence the efficiency can be considerably raised. In addition,as harmonic useful signal is applied, the frequency of CSAMT becomes dense and,as a result, the vertical resolving power of CSAMT is improved.
