Abstract Soil geochemical survey was conducted in the Aifa ore district, Chile. It is shown that the application of this method can further point out the prospecting direction, delineate the target, reduce the oreprospecting area, and accelerate the oreprospecting work. Soil geochemical survey has played an important role in geological oreprospecting work there and yielded satisfactory application result.
