Abstract Geological activities have intrinsic and logic connection with geochemical activities. Different geological backgrounds correspond to different geological formations and dynamic conditions, and can find expression in different geochemical characteristics. Exemplified by the application of 1:200 000 regional geochemical data to basic geological researches, this paper deals in detail with this problem.
