Abstract Based on summarization of near-surface imhomogeneity effects in 2D forward modelling resistivity pseudosections from pole-dipole arrays in the high-density resistivity technology, this paper describes a filtering scheme which uses two-side pole-dipole array to remove the near-surface inhomogeneity effects. This scheme has been successfully applied to field data processing.
