Abstract This paper describes the technique employed in searching for concealed igneous rock (ore) bodies in metallic ore districts and the achievements gained. Drilling verification has proved that the results are quite consistent with the seismic interpretation and inference. Such an attempt is of great significance in widening the survice of seismic exploration.
