This paper has reviewed the great achievements made by geophysical exploration for solid mineral resources in the aspects of ore prospecting and technical progress, summed up the abundant experience thus accumulated, advanced the general objective and working direction of the application and technical development in this exploration, and suggested the key techniques that should be emphatically developed.
