Abstract The application of the combined shallow seismic reflection method and Rayleigh surface wave method to the field quality inspection of the leakage proof wall shows that the integrated application of the two methods can not only detect the continuity of the leakage proof wall and the burial depth of the roof and the footwall rather effectively but also measure the thickness of the wall quite accurately. It provides a kind of effective method for nondestructive flaw detection.
