Abstract Based on the analysis and judgment of hydrogeological conditions and geophysical characteristics of the surveyed area,this paper has summed up a fairly effective method for water exploration in this desert area.Practice shows that the successfulness rate of resistivity method in water exploration of this desert area is higher than 70%.
