Abstract Based on properites of granites in Qingdao, radioactive elements, structural characteristics, and quantitative determination of atmospheric radon and soil radon, the authors obtained results of soil radon environmental geological investigation, and have reached the conclusion that environmental radon of Qingdao City is at a low level.
