Based on synthesizing large quantities of data, the present paper has summed up the development history of gas geochemistry, made some preliminary comments on a few technical terms that came into being in the process of the development of integrated gas survey, described sampling technique and theoretical basis of integrated gas survey and, according to data analysis, predicted the development trend of integrated gas survey.
