Abstract The present paper bas presented elamples of audio-frequency magnetotelluric exploration conducted in Qinling region with YDC-1 type audio-frequency magnetotelluric apparatus.The results of the elploration show that the audio-frequency magnetotelluric method is fairly effective in finding out underground geologic structure of Qinling region which is subjected to comparatively small interference.
