Abstract In four known areas, time spectrum IP method was used to evaluate apparentparameters of Cole-Cole model by means of inversion and, through an integrated considerationof the function of ηsηs and Cs parameters, the IP Properties Of the buried polarized bodieswere studied comprehensively. According to the application achievements, it is shown thatunder the condition of three-dimensional terrestrial electricity and polarized wall rock, IPanomalies can be appraised, i. e., anomalies with ore-prospecting significance can be pointedout.
