The study of the forward and inverse calculation of the gravity and magneticrelief seems to be one of the important problems in the geophysical interpretaion method.Based onParker's inverse formula of gravity and magnetic fields, la new method for rapid,forward andinverse calculation of the potential field anomalies is advanced in this paper, which can enhancethe stability in the inversion and solve the problem of selecting parameters in the stable factor.In addition, the paper discusses improperly posed phenomena and other factors affecting the inve-rse result. The results of both mode ng and field application are satisfactory.
