Abstract Using field test facilities developed [by ourbelves, we performed tentative test ofthe contact polarization carve method in the YinachaUg copper-iron deposit, Wading County,Yunnan Province. It is preliminarily proved that the contact polarization curve method can real-ly indicate composition and reserves of conducting orebodies, and that its application is by nomeans very limited.
