Based on characteristics of exploration; geochemistry, this paper, advanced the con-cepts of "geochemical conceptual model" and "geochemical anomaly pattern" with their diffe-rences pointed out. Their major application f’elds and stages are discussed. Finally, u schematicdiagram is pretested showing the framework of the geochemical model-pattern system for ororesources.
