Based on element associations in geochemical anomalies from various sortsof copper deposits,this paper discusses the method and techuique in pros-pecting for various sorts of copper deposits using China-made portabl X-rayfluorescence instrument, and describes the effect of usiug the method andtechnique mentioned in this paper in a copper deposits of Northeast China.
