Abstract The airborne gravity vibration reduction system is an effective way to attenuate high frequency vibration in the airborne environment, thus improving measurement accuracy of aviation gravity. Therefore, the primary problem in the design of the vibration reduction system is to set up such important parameters as reasonable stiffness, damping, and quality. The authors established differential equations of motion for two types of vibration reduction system of airborne gravimeter. With theoretical and investigate instances, the authors discussed vibration reduction system model, with the purpose of in-depth understanding of the law of airborne gravity vibration reduction system and providing the necessary theoretical support for its parameter design.
