Abstract Based on 1:25000 stream sediment survey results of the Qagan Us gold deposit in Hejing County of Xinjiang and summarization of the distribution of elements, the authors integrated favorable combinations of the elements and delineated the anomalies. Then in the anomaly the authors found K3, K4 orebodies through comprehensive geological prospecting. On the basis of an analysis of the axial primary halo zoning of K3 orebody, the authors hold that K3 orebody still has good extension below 160 m.
