The application of the comprehensive static correction technology in complex areas |

Abstract Surface velocity and thickness show heterogeneity in complex areas. With the increasingly deep exploration and the complexity of the surveyed areas, static correction problems become more and more prominent and even seriously trouble the seismic acquisition. In order to greatly improve the data quality and imaging precision in the complex seismic exploration areas and meet the needs of the fine oil and gas accumulation exploration in these complex exploration areas characterized by multiple solutions of the surface structure, serious surface adsorption attenuation, low S/N ratios and resolutions and difficult imaging, the authors carried out detailed studies of the statics method based on the FBT of a single source, performed the high and low frequency static separation and integrated the static correction technology. The application of the statics technology shows that S/N can be greatly improved, and good imaging effects can be obtained. The technology can solve not only short wavelength problems but also the long wavelengths problem, thus achieving good exploration results.
