This paper describes the basic idea of isolation technology of CO₂ and the main mode of isolation of CO₂. On such a basis, the authors proposed the feasibility of seam separation and isolation of the mechanism for CO₂ and analyzed the key research questions and research ideas of geological storage of CO₂ in seam, with emphasis placed on the availability of seismic monitoring in CO₂ storage.
