Abstract The Dapingzhang Cu-polymetallic deposit is a typical volcanic exhalative sedimentary deposit in western Yunnan. This paper has summarized the geophysical characteristics of the ore district and established the geophysical anomaly model for the Dapingzhang deposit in combination with the geological features, in the hope that the model can guide the prospecting work in the depth and on the periphery of the ore district. In this paper, the main geological features include IP intermediate gradient anomaly, IP sounding anomaly, high-frequency magnetotelluric method (EH-4) anomaly and Transient Electromagnetic Method (TEM) anomaly in the ore district.
