Abstract Based on the acquisition and analysis of geological, geophysical and geochemical data of the Yanqian tungsten ore district in Changshan, the authors established the metallogenic model and ore prognostic model for mineral deposits of this type. In the Yanqian ore-forming prospective area, four minimum prognostic units were delineated, of which two units are Grade A prognostic units, and two units are Grade C prognostic units. In addition, MRAS software was employed to predict tungsten metal source quantity.
