Abstract With the miniaturization of the field test equipment, the integration of the embedded system intelligent portable field test equipment is more and more widely applied; nevertheless, the data collection ways and methods for equipment test are different, which will affect the internet interaction energy between the equipment and the computer and restrict its use. With the help of the Internet of things technology, these devices can be integrated to the embedded system field test equipment seamless connection, simplify the user test process, test data automatic acquisition, transmission, processing and automatic generation of various special geological map by GIS software. On the basis of the Internet of things and with the portable X-Ray fluorescence analysis instrument as an example, the authors designed a set of integrated GPS Windows Mobile intelligent mobile phone as the core of the field test data seamless acquisition and the processing system, thus improving the process of the regional geological survey and the work efficiency.
