Abstract The gravity anomaly produced by rock in the strata will affect the reliability of the density interface inversion, so we should remove the influence before the calculation to increase the inversion reliability. In this paper, the authors used gravity and magnetic data in Tuquan basin to invert the rock and got the gravity produced by the rock with which we can perform the separation from the whole gravity field. 3D geological model was also established to reflect the spatial distribution of rock.
