This paper gives a comprehensive description of the development of aerogeophysical techniques in Western Countries and recounts such instruments as aeromagnetometer and gamma spectrometer,the newest aeromagnetic, aeroelectromagnetic and airborne gravity surveying system as well as data processing software.
